Animusic was a company that conformed by Wayne Lytle and David Crognale, they dedicated their time and effort to create MIDI animated music videos in DVD. They created 2 DVDs, Animusic 1 and 2. they also created a VHS version and special edition for Animusic 1, a regional version of Animusic 2 for Japan and HD Blu-ray release of Animusic 2, CD releases for both DVDs and merch. They were successful with both DVDs and they wanted to make a big third release, they started a fundraiser on Kickstarter on August 13th of 2012, managing to fund the project within a month and stretch their goals for a Blu-ray release option, they even manage to get into the top 2 of the most funded projects in animation at the time. they managed to reach the goal but never delivier the product due to unexpected dificulties, David left the company due to having nothing to do in the office anymore and left Wayne with all the hats for the development of Animusic 3, the demand of kickstarted rewards drained the fund and Wayne got lost in the composition of The Sound of Twelve, a CD based of the soul of Animusic 3, in other words, the foundation of the music of Animusic 3. Wayne, at the core of who he is, is a musician, he loves making music and dedicated time and effort for this CD, he managed to release the CD and some kickstarter rewards. He made the last update for Animusic 3 in August 20th of 2015, 2 years after the initial October 2013 release date. after that, he started experimenting with the last remaining models made by Dave, UE4 and it's capabilities for real-time rendering. The stress of the development of A3 affected Wayne with Chronic Fatigue, ADHD, RSI (repetive strain injury) Bell’s palsy, the amount of multi-tasking, excessive amount of mouse usage and fatigue. "I truly believe that God created me and put me here on earth to bring joy to people...through music in general, Animusic most specifically. That’s my mission, and that’s what I will do." those were thte last words of the update of Animusic 3 written by Wayne Lytle. They're other sources like Computer Clan's or The Science Elf's videos explaining a bit more detailed about the downfall of Animusic 3, the fanbase has been strong and surviving after all of these years, managing to recreate the original tracks, or making orignal MIDI animated music videos based of Animusic like Laser, Lights and Music and many other projects. Animusic has always been my childhood and I grew up watching them when I was little. I remember back in 2012, when the hype was real for Animusic 3, being able to participate in the funding for this ambitious project, I hate to be the people that Wayne disappointed, I'm not and was never disappointed. I felt bad for Wayne after reading the last update and hoped the best luck for him. Hearing about the person who made your childhood is struggling deeply with the one thing that they love doing the most is devastating. I really like Animusic and hope best for the future for it, I'm glad that Animusic has been part of my life for a long time and see it die in real-time is heartbreaking. I recommend watching of the tracks of both Animusic 1 and 2 and appreciate the hard work Wayne, Dave and the Animusic Team has done to all of us.
